The lineout horrors are all in the head

The psychology of a lineout thrower is a weird yet wonderful skill. The best advice I have had was in a book given to me by the great coach Eddie Jones. It wasn’t a book on Fitzpatrick or Kearns or even on rugby. It was The Inner Game of Tennis by Tim Gallwey.

You’re probably thinking, ”A book on tennis?” It’s easy to explain when I tie the two sports together.
